Sugar Jane was abandoned at our shelter. She was dumped over our fence at night with nipples full of milk, starving for food. We found her frightened and cowering in a corner of our property the next morning. Upon taking her to our Vet we found out that she had Heartworms, Whipworms and Hookworms, any of which, in time would kill her. She is presently undergoing treatment for all three at any expense of over $1,200.
Sugar Jane is a very sweet 1 1/2 year old Pit Bull mix, weighs about 55lbs and once cured she will make someone a wonderful companion.She is a fantastic girl with so much personality. She loves everyone!
We are a NO KILL shelter with over 100 dogs constantly in our care and our medical expenses are tremendous. It's only through your generosity that we are we able to continue.
