Find Your Forever Friend

...animals are such agreeable friends they ask no questions, they pass no criticism...

Shih Tzu Rescue is looking for responsible and caring people to give our adorable roommates their much needed second chance at a permanent home and happiness. The following are just a few initial guidelines you should consider before deciding to adopt:

  • A dog is a long term committment
  • Certain breeds require grooming
  • All adoptive homes must be stable, supportive, and capable and willing to meet all veterinary needs of the animal

Think you are ready?

Please see our lists of available dogs for adoption:

» All At Once

Nationally, six to eight million dogs and cats are euthanized each year. This does not include those that die of disease, starvation, fights with other animals, or are victims of traffic accidents. There simply are not enough homes for all of the animals born! Everyday in the United States 10,000 human babies are born, while 70,000 puppies and kittens are born. *Humane Society of the United States.
