Story:
We received a call from people with a dog who is scratching herself to death! We took her in and named her Paisley Rose. Paisley Rose was suffering terribly wearing an Elizabethan Collar 24/7 in order to prevent her from scratching herself until she is full of bloody sores. Fortunately, often times dogs like Paisley Rose respond wonderfully to a regular schedule of medicated baths, in conjunction with dietary changes and lots of vigilant care. Dogs like Paisley Rose take a long time to heal and look healthy enough to be adopted but happily, after 17 yrs, we have a great recovery rate. These cases cost us more in time and money to rehabilitate than the average dog does.
With your generous support, we can continue to take in sad, itchy, frightened little dogs like Paisley Rose and see them leave with healthy beautiful hair, happy and confident and ready to start a new life with loving new humans. Without your help we must stretch every penny just to keep our doors open.
