UPDATE:  August 16, 2008  After several surgeries and heavy duty intravenous antibiotics Hercules is improving.  He remains in the vet hospital and will most likely remain there for at least another week.  Hercules had to have
several surgeries to remove necrotic (dead) skin. He now has two open wounds, one the size of a tangerine and one the size of a lemon that are  going to have to heal from the inside out.  Poor Hercules.  Despite what this little boy has had to endure, the staff at the animal hospital says his spirits are high and he is eating well.  He is still not out of the woods. The estimate as of Tuesday, 8.12.08 was upwards of $1,780.00 with bandage changes daily at a charge of $73 plus hospitalization charges.  Any and all
donations towards his care would be greatly appreciated.  Please Keep this sweet boy in your prayers.

Poor Hercules was hit by a car and because of extensive nerve damage his front leg had to be amputated at the shoulder. We agreed to take him in after the surgery was completed. As if losing his leg wasn't enough, less than 30 hours after we took him into a foster home it became evident this little guy was battling a serious, massive infection throughout his body. Today, August 7th he is back in surgery to remove dead, infected skin.  He will need to remain hospitalized on intravenous antibiotics at least through Saturday, Aug 9th.

Everyone who has met this noble fellow has said what an exceptional soul he is.  Prior to the infection setting in he was already up and about walking and getting around.  This little guy is a fighter.  Will you please fight for him and help us by making a tax deductible donation towards his medical bills?

We are doing everything we can to save this sweet boy's life. We desperately need funds to cover this medical bill.  Please help.
